Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia: Injury toll rises to 12, two dead

The number of people injured in yesterday's Russian strikes against Zaporizhzhia has increased to 12, including four children.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"One more minor has been added to the list of the injured. As a result, children aged 11, 12, 15, and 17 were wounded during the attack," the statement said.

Fedorov noted that people injured in the Russian strikes on the regional center continue to seek medical assistance. Doctors are diagnosing blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, and concussions.

On February 3, the occupiers carried out 790 strikes on 32 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing three people. In particular, a Russian drone struck near a shopping area in the Khortytskyi district of Zaporizhzhia. An 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were killed at the scene.
