Woman killed in Russian airstrike on Sloviansk

Early on Sunday, February 1, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region, dropping three FAB-250 aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, a 43-year-old woman was killed and another woman was injured.

The head of the Sloviansk Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"A 43-year-old woman, a resident of Kramatorsk, was killed. My sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. One local woman was injured," Liakh said.

According to the regional governor, the attack damaged 14 apartment buildings, three cars, a Nova Poshta branch, and a co-working center in the city.
