Around 400 buildings in Kyiv remain without heat
About 400 buildings in Kyiv remain without heat, according to Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Panteleiev.
He said this at a briefing on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"At present, around 400 buildings still have no heating, but there is a corresponding work plan for each building, for each district and neighborhood where they are located," Panteleiev said.
He clarified that most of these buildings are in the Holosiivskyi and Pecherskyi districts, as well as in the Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
Panteleiev noted that active work was ongoing on these buildings, but he did not specify exact timelines.
According to him, the risk of shelling persists daily, and there have already been situations where new damage forced crews to return to previous stages of repair. Nevertheless, the prospect of restoring heating to these buildings is entirely realistic.
On the night of January 8-9, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv, leaving 417,000 consumers without electricity and 6,000 apartment buildings without heat.
