Enemies strike Kherson, one dead, one wounded
In Kherson, a man was killed as a result of Russian shelling in the Dniprovskyi district, and an older woman was wounded in her home in the Central district due to a drone attack.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Oleksandr Prokudin, the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
“On the first day of the new year, the Russians killed a man in Kherson,” the message says.
As noted, a 31-year-old man was hit by enemy fire in the Dniprovskyi district of the city. He suffered fatal injuries.
Prokudin also said on Facebook that early in the morning, Russians attacked a high-rise building in the Central district of Kherson with a UCAV. The enemy drone flew into an apartment where an 87-year-old woman was staying. She suffered a concussion, blast, and closed head injuries. An ambulance crew took the victim to the hospital in moderate condition.
As reported by Ukrinform, one person was killed, and four others were injured in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian aggression.
