In the suburbs of Dnipro, a vaccination bus belonging to the regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health was destroyed in a Russian strike.

According to Ukrinform, the Public Health Center of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

"The medical team was on its way to provide vaccination services in a local community. The bus was completely destroyed; fortunately, the medical staff managed to leave it before the explosion," the statement said.

The regional center had received the vehicle in 2023 from the Ukrainian office of the World Health Organization. It had been used to provide vaccinations in remote and frontline communities.

As previously reported, on April 30, a Russian drone attack in the Dnipro district destroyed a bus and two passenger cars, damaged eight more vehicles, and affected a shop and a residential building.
