Injury toll in Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia rises to four
The number of people injured as a result of the Russian overnight attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to four.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
“At around 3:45, Russian forces struck the regional center. A 75-year-old woman, two other women aged 66 and 35, and a 46-year-old man were injured,” the statement said.
Information about the injured is being clarified.
In one district of the city, garages caught fire over an area of 50 square meters. In another district, a passenger car was set ablaze. Rescue workers extinguished the fires.
In addition, the blast wave partially damaged a fire station building, administrative facilities, multi-story residential buildings, an educational institution, and vehicles.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, earlier reports indicated that three people had been injured in the Russian overnight attack on Zaporizhzhia on December 24.
