Russian nighttime drone attack in Odesa region leaves energy and port infrastructure damaged
Russian forces attacked the Odesa region overnight with drones, damaging port and energy infrastructure facilities and causing disruptions to electricity supply.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported this on Telegram.
"Overnight, Odesa region once again came under a massive enemy UAV attack targeting energy and port infrastructure. The damage caused disruptions in electricity supply. Empty storage tanks and port equipment were also damaged," he said.
Kiper emphasized that there were no casualties. Fires that broke out have already been contained. All emergency services are working at the scene, and efforts are ongoing to document and eliminate the consequences.
As previously reported, on Thursday, April 9, Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones, damaging a critical infrastructure facility.
