Russian forces attack crossings in Kharkiv region, killing one person
Russian troops attacked crossings in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region on December 23, killing one person.
This was reported at a press conference by Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“Today, another strike was carried out on our crossings. One person was killed there. All circumstances are currently being clarified,” Syniehubov said.
He did not specify the directions where the strikes were carried out or the exact location where the fatality occurred.
The official disclosed the latest attack while responding to a question about possible additional security measures during Christmas and New Year. According to Syniehubov, curfew hours in the region will remain unchanged (in the city of Kharkiv and parts of the region, the curfew is in effect from 00:00 to 05:00). At the same time, the head of the regional administration urged residents to spend the holidays at home, avoid large gatherings, and respond promptly to air raid alerts.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on December 7, Russian forces again carried out a missile strike on the dam of the Pechenihy Reservoir in the Kharkiv region.
