Border guards prevent Russian small assault groups from breaking through in Kharkiv region

Fighters of the Hart Border Brigade thwarted an attempt by Russian invaders to infiltrate in small groups in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction.

According to Ukrinform, the 16th Army Corps reported this on Facebook and released corresponding video footage.

As the military noted, the Russian plan was simple: quietly infiltrate, establish positions, and then report "successes" on their propaganda channels.

"The border guards' drones quickly explained to the invaders that any movement toward the Ukrainian border has long been under control, and attempts to enter the Kharkiv region unnoticed end before reaching the intended positions," the corps stated.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian troops launched three assaults today against Defense Forces positions in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, in the areas of Vovchansk and Krasne Pershe.
