Drones attack Russia's Krasnodar Krai: Fire breaks out at oil refinery, power outage reported

In Russia's Krasnodar Krai, a drone attack caused a fire at an oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk-na-Kubani, and left 38,800 subscribers without power.

The ASTRA Telegram channel and the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported this, according to Ukrinform.

The regional operational headquarters stated that in Slavyansk-na-Kubani, "drone debris fell on the territory of the oil refinery," resulting in a fire involving technological equipment and a pipeline over an area of 100 square meters, which was allegedly extinguished promptly.

In addition, in the Slavyansky district, two high-voltage power transmission lines were damaged as a result of the drone attack, leaving 38,800 subscribers without electricity.

At present, 12,700 people remain without power supply.

The administration of Slavyansk-na-Kubani said that electricity supply is absent in some parts of the city.

Meanwhile, Russia's Ministry of Defense reported the alleged downing overnight of 94 drones, 53 of which were "neutralized" over the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov region.
