Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia: Number of injured climbs to eight

In Zaporizhzhia, the number of people injured as a result of Russian attacks has increased to eight.

This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“Already eight injured: people continue to seek medical assistance following the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia,” he wrote.

The injured sustained blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, and contusions. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care.

As clarified by the police, at 10:19 today, the occupiers directed four unmanned combat aerial vehicles at the regional center. The first strike hit a residential district of the city. As a result of the impact, a supermarket and nearby multi-storey residential buildings were damaged.

Russian forces carried out the other three strikes against an open area. As a result of the Russian attack, a patrol police department officer, an employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region, and a civilian were injured.

Cars were damaged. Police paramedics provided on-site assistance to the injured. Investigative and operational groups, explosives experts, and forensic specialists are collecting evidence of a war crime committed by the Russian army.

Among the injured is also a six-year-old child.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of December 14, Russian forces attacked a residential neighborhood of Zaporizhzhia, causing significant destruction and injuries.
