Russia launches more than 1,500 drones, about 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 missiles at Ukraine in one week — Zelensky
According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Facebook.
According to him, since yesterday, all services have been working to restore electricity, heat, and water supplies to the regions following Russian strikes on the energy sector. The situation remains difficult—hundreds of thousands of families in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions still lack electricity.
“Last night, our communities were attacked again. People were wounded. Russia is dragging out the war and seeks to inflict as much harm as possible on our people. In total, the Russians launched more than 1,500 attack drones, nearly 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 missiles of various types against Ukraine this week. Just one week,” Zelensky emphasized.
He stressed that Ukraine needs peace on decent terms, and we are prepared to work constructively.
The President said that these days will be filled with diplomacy, and it is crucial that it yields results.
“I count on the support of our partners. Thank you to everyone who is helping,” Zelensky concluded.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army carried out a massive combined attack on the Mykolaiv region yesterday, targeting critical and industrial infrastructure.
