Air Defense Forces destroy 64 out of 80 Russian drones
Air Defense Forces destroyed 64 of the 80 drones used by Russians to attack Ukraine since the evening of December 11.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
According to the report, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, the invaders attacked Ukraine with 80 Shahed and Gerbera UCAVs and other types of drones from the following directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (Russian Federation), Chauda, Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), and about 50 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 64 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Twelve UCAVs were recorded hitting eight locations, and debris fell in three locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones still airborne.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russia launched a massive attack on the Odesa region with combat drones. Energy infrastructure and warehouses were damaged. Some settlements were left without electricity.
