Russian attacks injure four people in Chernihiv region

In the Chernihiv region, four people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian strikes.

According to Ukrinform, Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, stated this on Telegram.

He said that over the past day, Russians carried out 41 strikes on the Chernihiv region, with 70 explosions recorded.

During the night of December 8, "an enemy strike hit near an apartment building in Chernihiv. An ordinary residential neighborhood in the city center. According to preliminary reports, three people were injured," Chaus noted.

"There is extensive destruction: a residential building, a kindergarten, vehicles, and businesses. An external gas pipeline was damaged, which caused a fire. Firefighters responded promptly. A resilience point has been set up at the site of the strike. All services are working and providing assistance to the affected residents," he reported.

In the Novhorod-Siverskyi district on December 7, Russian Molniya UAVs attacked Semenivka during the day. An administrative building and a residential house were damaged. A woman was injured and hospitalized.

In Chaikyne, a Geran UAV attack damaged the cultural center, the local administration building, as well as a residential house and a car.

As Ukrinform reported, on November 28, a Russian drone fell on the premises of one of the enterprises in Chernihiv.
