General Staff reports 1,020 Russian troops lost over past day
The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to September 17, 2025, amount to about 1,097,450 personnel, including 1,020 in the past 24 hours.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
Russian military losses also include: 1,189 tanks (+5), 23,277 armored fighting vehicles (+3), 32,846 artillery systems (+36), 1,490 MLRS (no change), 1,217 air defense systems (no change), 422 aircraft (no change), 341 helicopters (no change), 60,079 operational-tactical UAVs (+360), 3,718 cruise missiles (no change), 28 warships/boats (no change), one submarine (no change), 61,878 vehicles and fuel tanks (+108), 3,965 units of special equipment (no change).
The data are being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, on September 16, as of 22:00, 148 combat clashes took place on the front line.
