Russian forces hit Zaporizhzhia region with 408 strikes over past day, civilian killed
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 408 strikes across 12 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. A 62-year-old man was killed in an attack on the Polohy district.
This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
Russian troops launched six airstrikes targeting Huliaipole, Uspenivka, Poltavka, and Chervone. A total of 239 drones of various types—mostly FPV—attacked Bohatyrivka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novoselivka. Four MLRS attacks struck Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, and Chervone. Additionally, 159 artillery strikes were recorded in Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Chervone.
Authorities received 35 reports of damage to private homes, apartments, farm buildings, and vehicles.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on August 30, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with seven missiles and six drones. One person was killed and 34 others were injured.
