Two injured in Russian strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian forces targeted the Nikopol district in the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones and artillery, injuring a 15-year-old girl and a 49-year-old woman. Both victims will receive outpatient treatment.

The report was shared by Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The strikes affected several communities, including the Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovske communities. Explosions sparked a fire that damaged an educational institution, an apartment building, three private houses, several outbuildings, and a power line.

In the Synelnykove district’s Mezhova community, FPV drones hit an agricultural enterprise, an unused structure, an administrative building, and a vehicle. Fires also broke out in dry grass areas.

Overnight, Ukrainian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed three Russian UAVs in the region.

As earlier reported by Ukrinform, on July 27, Russian strikes in the Dnipropetrovsk region injured another civilian and caused damage to residential buildings, commercial facilities, and sparked additional fires.
