Ukraine’s eastern front: 66 combat clashes in past day

The Ukrainian battlefield has seen 78 combat engagements over the past day, including 66 in the operational area of the Khortytsia Grouping of Troops.

That’s according to the grouping’s press service, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy launched 33 airstrikes using 50 KAB gliding bombs, 272 kamikaze drone strikes, and 2 missile strikes on the positions of our troops and at populated areas," the statement reads.

It was noted that over the past day, the Russians fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops 3,125 times. Also, since day-start, 32 combat clashes have already been recorded in the eastern operational zone.

"The enemy continues to shell our defenders’ positions. Since day-start, 351 artillery strikes, 10 kamikaze drone attacks, and a missile strike have been recorded in the area of ​​responsibility of the Khortytsia Grouping," the report noted.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian command is pulling up reserves to the Kharkiv axis.
