Russian forces shell Izium with MLRS, three civilians injured
Russian forces shelled the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region using a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), injuring three civilians.
That is according to the regional police, Ukrinform reports.
According to police, on April 19, the enemy struck the city with MLRS fire. One of the shells hit a bathhouse building, damaging the facility and a vehicle.
"As a result of the shelling, three people sustained injuries – a woman born in 1990 and two men born in 1961 and 1993. The injured received medical assistance," the statement said.
A police investigative team arrived at the scene to document the consequences of the war crime. Investigators have entered the case into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
