Enemy shelling of Kupiansk: Policeman injured, damage reported

A policeman was wounded in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, in an enemy shelling.

Serhiy Bolvinov, the head of the Investigation Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"A police senior lieutenant is in the hospital. In the morning, the enemy shelled the town with a mortar. The enemy hit the residential sector again, damaging houses and outbuildings. The policeman sustained concussion and ear injuries," Bolvinov said.

As reported, at about 1:00 a.m. on January 26, the Russian military struck Kupiansk with Uragan MLRS. An enterprise in the town was damaged and a gas station burned down.
