Russians shell Zaporizhzhia region 106 times in past day

Russian artillery and missiles targeted Zaporizhzhia region, hitting the area 106 times and causing destruction.

This was reported on Facebook by the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko, Ukrinform saw.

"The Russian military conducted 106 strikes targeting Zaporizhzhia region where 20 settlements were affected," the official wrote.

According to Malashko, 88 artillery rounds were fired on the territory of Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Bilohiria, Levadne, Poltavka, Shcherbaky, Piatykhatky, and other populated areas.

The enemy launched a missile attack on Liubitske, 13 UAV strikes on Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Charivne, Malynivka, Novodarivka, Kamianske, and Piatykhatky. Three anti-aircraft missiles were fired at Robotyne, and Orykhiv was hit by a bomb.

The officials recorded 20 reports on destruction to residential buildings and infrastructure facilities.

No casualties were reported.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, some 44% of shelters across Zaporizhzhia region turned out to be inoperable following inspection.
