Russian forces strike Kharkiv, three injured

The Russian forces struck the central part of the city of Kharkiv.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The city of Kharkiv is under fire. There is information about a strike on the central part of the city," he posted.

In turn, Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, called on residents to stay in shelters.

At least three people have been injured.

"According to preliminary information, hits were recorded in Kyivskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv. Three people have been injured, they are in fair condition. Emergency services are working at the scene. Damage was caused to cars and buildings. The information is being updated,” he added later.

As reported, on October 5, Russian force launched a missile strike on a cafe in the village of Hroza in Kharkiv region, when a memorial service was held. Fifty-one people were killed and six others were injured. Two of them are in grave condition.
