Over past day, Russians shell five districts of Kharkiv region

Yesterday, on August 28, Russian invaders fired on the Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Izyum, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk districts of the Kharkiv region.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to him, the enemy fired from artillery, and mortars, and used combat aircraft.

In the villages of Podoly, in the Kupiansk district, and Vovchansk Khutor, in the Chuhuiv district, the grass was burning in the open area as a result of shelling.

The shelling of Cherneshchyna in the Izyum district damaged a house and a garage of a private household. A house was damaged in Kurylivka, in the Kupiansk district.

According to Sinegubov, at about 08:50 a.m., a remote-controlled T-150 tractor exploded and caught fire in a field in Yavirske village, in the Izyum district, during demining operations. 

No civilian casualties were reported over the day, Sinegubov emphasized.

According to the head of the RMA, over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 5.6 hectares of the territory of the Kharkiv region and defused 107 explosive devices.

As reported, a 39-year-old woman was killed and a 16-year-old girl was injured in the shelling of Odnorobivka in the Bohodukhiv district.
