Two civilians injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

Two civilians have been injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On August 26, 2023, Russians injured two civilians in the Donetsk region, namely in Avdiivka and Shakhtarske,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Additionally, it is now impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko noted.

A reminder that, on August 26, 2023, Russian artillery strikes affected a number of settlements in the Shakhtarske direction, namely the Donetsk region’s Vuhledar, Vodiane, Shakhtarske, Blahodatne, Urozhaine and Rivnopil.
