Russian drone strikes train in Sumy region, driver injured

A Russian drone attacked a train in the Sumy region, leaving the driver injured.

According to Ukrinform, the regional prosecutor's office confirmed this to Suspilne Sumy.

"The train driver was injured as a result of a Russian drone attack. The incident occurred at around 17:30, when a Russian drone struck a train near the city of Sumy. Preliminary reports indicate the locomotive was hit," the statement said.

Earlier on Saturday, Russian forces targeted a fire station in the Shostka district of the Sumy region with a drone. The strike was deliberate, damaging the building and a fire tanker, while personnel were in shelter at the time.
