Ukraine’s troops report “success” in operations near Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka

Ukraine’s Defense Forces achieved certain success in the Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka areas, Zaporizhzhia region.

This was announced on Telegram by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar, Ukrinform reports.

"Our units were successful south-east of Robotyne and south of Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region," she said.

According to Maliar, Russian invaders fruitlessly tried to regain the positions they had lost east of Robotyne. The sides are engaged in urban warfare in the said settlement.

The Russian army is on the defensive on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes.

The invaders continue to shell Ukraine’s military positions and civilian objects in the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions, actively employing Lancet barraging munitions.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to Hanna Maliar, no swift advance should be expected of Ukraine’s Armed Forces in the south because, despite powerful offensive and defensive efforts on their part, the enemy still enjoys aerial superiority in air and outnumbers Ukrainian troops in terms of available weapons and manpower.
