Seven civilians injured in Russia’s MLRS attack on Stepnohirsk

Russian troops have opened fire on the Zaporizhzhia region’s urban-type settlement of Stepnohirsk with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Seven civilians were reported injured.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Yurii Malashko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over the past day, Russian troops have launched 52 strikes on 13 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy was shelling frontline villages with artillery: 48 strikes were recorded in Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliapilske, Novodarivka, Olhivske, Charivne, Chervone, Malynivka and Levadne,” Malashko wrote.

Additionally, Russians launched a missile strike on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia and struck Stepnohirsk with the MLRS.

Three women (aged 62, 66 and 68) and four men (aged 37, 60, 61 and 68) were injured in Stepnohirsk.

Local residents filed 33 reports on the damage caused by Russian attacks to residential houses, administrative buildings and social infrastructure objects.
