Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to about 229,660

Russia has already lost about 229,660 troops in Ukraine (+790 over the past day).

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between February 24, 2022 and July 2, 2023, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 4,052 tanks (+10 over the past day), 7,888 armored fighting vehicles (+20), 4,188 artillery systems (+26), 637 multiple launch rocket systems (+5), 390 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+1), 315 aircraft, 308 helicopters, 6,816 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+22), 18 warships/boats, 3,557 unmanned aerial vehicles (+12), 583 special equipment units (+3). A total of 1,261 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.

A reminder that, on July 1, 2023, Ukraine’s Air Force launched 10 strikes on Russian personnel clusters, two on air defense missile systems, and one more on an enemy command post.
