War update: 46 combat engagements occur in three directions

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night Russia launched another missile and air attack on Ukraine’s territory. Information about the consequences of that terrorist attack is being checked. Over the past day, the enemy has launched one missile and 27 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian forces and settlements about 80 times,” the report states.

The threat of Russian missile and air strikes is persisting all over Ukraine, according to the General Staff.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remained rather unchanged. No enemy offensive groups were detected.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, Russian invaders are maintaining military presence. The enemy launched an air strike near the Kharkiv region’s Veterynarne, as well as mortar and artillery strikes on over 15 settlements.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers launched air strikes near the Kharkiv region’s Kyslivka and Kotliarivka, as well as mortar and artillery strikes on the Kharkiv region’s Topoli, Novomlynsk, Fyholivka, Masiutivka and Kyslivka..

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Nevske and to the south of the Luhansk region’s Dibrova. The enemy launched air strikes near the Luhansk region’s Bilohorivka and the Donetsk region’s Vyimka and Spirne. Over 10 settlements came under Russian artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the Donetsk region’s Bohdanivka. The enemy launched air strikes near Bila Hora, Toretsk and New York. About 15 settlements were affected by Russian artillery strikes.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the Donetsk region’s Avdiivka. The enemy launched artillery strikes on over 10 settlements.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks near the Donetsk region’s Marinka. Russians launched artillery strikes on Hostre, Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Marinka.

In the Shakhtarske direction, Russian troops launched an air strike near the Donetsk region’s Makarivka, as well as shelled about 15 settlements.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops are focusing efforts to prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing. Over 30 settlements came under Russian artillery fire.

In the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Air Force has launched 10 strikes on enemy personnel clusters, two on Russian air defense missile systems, and one on an enemy command post. Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit one Russian command post, four personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters, 27 artillery systems in firing positions, one air defense missile system, two electronic warfare systems, and one more important target.
