Rescue team, equipment sent from Kyiv to Kherson region

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are working in a unified system with the Security and Defense Forces to eliminate the consequences of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant explosion, and all-terrain vehicles have been sent to the site.

Serhiy Kruk, the head of the State Emergency Service, informed this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"A Mobile Operational Group of SES specialists has already been sent from Kyiv, all-terrain vehicles have been sent, and additional forces and equipment have been deployed: boats, Bogun all-terrain vehicles, floating conveyors, generators, mobile treatment plants and vehicles for the supply of drinking water. The SES forces and means are ready to perform their assigned tasks," he said.

Kruk noted that Russia is a terrorist state and stated that "when we are all united, we are invincible."

As reported, at night on June 6, the Russian army blew up the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.

In the Kherson region, evacuation of the population from dangerous places at risk of flooding as a result of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant explosion has begun.

Law enforcement officers have opened an investigation into the occupiers' explosion of the Kakhovka HPP under the article of ecocide.

Ukrhydroenergo stated that the Kakhovka HPP was completely destroyed and cannot be restored.
