Zelensky holds Supreme CinC Staff meeting to discuss ammo supply, Air Force development

President Volodymyr Zelensky chaired another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the operational developments on the battlefield, ammunition provision, and work on the concept of Air Force development.

The head of state announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Another Supreme CinC Staff meeting. The operational situation was reported by the Chief of Staff, defense intelligence, and commanders of the Khortytsia and Tavria groups of forces. The Ministry of Defense reported the situation of ammunition supplies to advanced units and reserves. We analyzed the existing and potential supply contracts and the dynamics of boosting our own production," Zelensky wrote.

The President added that the work had been launched on a comprehensive concept for the development of the Ukrainian Air Force, taking into account the transition to new types of aircraft. According to Zelensky, it is about a new organizational structure, training of pilots and ground maintenance personnel, required infrastructure, material and technical support, and other issues.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, during the Supreme CinC Staff meeting on May 12, its members heard the report by Ground Forces Commander, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi.
