British defense minister confirms that Storm Shadow missiles have been used in Ukraine

British Defense Minister Ben Wallace has confirmed that long-range Storm Shadow missiles provided to Ukraine have been used.

That’s according to Sky News, Ukrinform reports.

"All I can say is it is my understanding that it [Storm Shadow] has been used since we announced its deployment to Ukraine, but I'm not going to go into further details," Wallace said.

According to him, the weapon systems that have been given to Ukraine from Western allies have been "potent" and "made a difference".

As reported by Ukrinform, on May 11, Ben Wallace confirmed the transfer of long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.

Storm Shadow is a long-range cruise missile developed jointly by the UK and France. It is typically launched from the air. With a firing range in excess of 250 km (155 miles), it is just short of the 185-mile range capability of the US-made surface-to-surface Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS).
