Enemy once again shells areas of Chernihiv region bordering Russia

On Thursday, January 26, Russian forces once again shelled the territories in Chernihiv region close to the border with Russia.

That’s according to Operational Command North, Ukrinform reports.

"From 12:35 to 12:40, four hits were reported, likely involving a 120 mm mortar, in the area of Tymonovychi", the statement reads.

Also, from 14:05 to 14:35, nine hits, likely involving an 80 mm mortar, were reported in the area of the same settlement.

There are no military casualties or damage to equipment. No information was received about civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure either.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians attacked 11 regions of Ukraine over the past day.
