Zelensky holds meeting of Supreme CinC Staff

On Monday, President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the situation at the front lines, in particular in the Donetsk region and the south of Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky announced this via Telegram.

"I held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. We discussed the developments on the front line, separately analyzed the situation in Donetsk region and the south," the statement reads.

The meeting heard reports about the likely actions of the aggressor power in the near future.

"We do not ignore the fact that the enemy will prepare new missile strikes, so we are developing the most effective countermeasures. In the end, we settled on supplying the Armed Forces with ammunition and training commanders at the tactical unit level," Zelensky said.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 15, Zelensky emphasized in a video address that Russia has made the battle for Donbas a matter of principle for themselves. Ukrainian defenders make it fundamental for the destruction of the combat potential of the terrorist power.
