The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have thwarted a series of bloody terrorist attacks ordered by Russia at high schools in the Kirovohrad and Odesa regions.

According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this.

As a result of preemptive measures, two local students were exposed who, on behalf of the Russian Federation, were supposed to blow up their high schools and shoot their classmates with firearms.

As a result of preemptive measures, two local students were exposed who, on behalf of the Russian Federation, were supposed to blow up their high schools and shoot their classmates with firearms.

The investigation established that Russian intelligence officers recruited both minors through Telegram and TikTok groups, which the Russians use to manipulate children into engaging in illegal activities.

According to available data, the enemy recruited the youths by manipulating themes such as achieving a "just cause," protecting relatives from reprisals, and "punishing the guilty" who had bullied them at school, among others.

Russian intelligence officers were pushing schoolchildren not only to carry out terrorist attacks but also to commit suicide immediately after the "main crime." In this way, the Russians hoped to eliminate "unnecessary witnesses."

It has been documented that a 15-year-old high school student in the Kirovohrad region received instructions from a Russian handler to make a homemade bomb using materials at hand.

The young man was supposed to bring the finished explosive device to his school and detonate it during a break.

In addition, following the enemy's instructions, he planned to take his grandfather's rifle and a hunting knife with him to finish off the survivors on his own.

SSU officers exposed the minor in advance and documented his contacts with a Russian intelligence officer.

During searches of the suspect's residence, investigators seized an improvised explosive device (IED), components for its manufacture, a shotgun, as well as a computer and smartphone containing evidence of collaboration with the enemy.

At the same time, in the Odesa region, a local student was exposed during the recruitment phase by the Russians.

It was established that Russian intelligence officers planned to send him a postal package containing a firearm and a hunting knife.

According to the case materials, the young man was to use these weapons to carry out a mass killing of students at his lyceum.

SSU investigators informed the 15-year-old suspect from the Kirovohrad region of his suspicion under Part 1 of Article 14 and Part 1 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (preparation for a terrorist attack).

He faces up to 10 years' imprisonment and the confiscation of property.

The investigation is ongoing to bring all those responsible to justice.

Comprehensive measures were carried out under the procedural guidance of the Kirovohrad Regional Prosecutor's Office.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Zakarpattia region, a 9th-grade student at a lyceum in Chop fired several shots at the school, wounding a classmate. Law enforcement classified this as a terrorist attack. Russians recruited the teenager during online games.
