Death toll in strike on apartment block in Dnipro rises to 12

Twelve people were killed in a Russian missile strike on an apartment block in Dnipro city.

"Death toll has risen to nine, including a 15-year-old girl... And 64 people were injured, 59 were hospitalized, the rest are treated at home. A Russian missile brought grief to dozens of Dnipro city families. Payback time will come," Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Later, he wrote: "A Russian missile has already claimed 12 innocent lives..."

Deputy Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko specified that 37 people, including six children, were rescued from the building. Fourteen children are among 64 people injured.

As reported, the enemy struck a multi-storey apartment building in Dnipro. A section with 72 apartments was destroyed, there could be up to 200 people.
