Enemy launches two attacks on Nikopol district in Dnipropetrovsk region

The Russian army launched two attacks on the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region on Sunday, January 8.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, said this on his Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

"Also, the occupiers once again did not leave the residents of the Nikopol district in calm. During the day, there were two attacks with field artillery on the city of Nikopol and the Chervonohryhorivka community," the post said.

There are no casualties. The consequences of the shelling are being investigated.

Earlier reports said that the Ukrainian military had shot down an enemy reconnaissance drone over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
