Ukrainian air defenses down 110 out of 125 Russian drones

Ukraine’s air defense forces have shot down 110 out of the 125 drones that Russian forces used to attack Ukraine since the evening of February 9.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The report states that since 18:00 on Monday, February 9, the invaders attacked Ukraine with 125 strike drones of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, and other UAVs from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, and Millerovo. About 70 of these were Shahed-type drones.

The aerial assault was countered by Ukrainian aviation, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare units, UAV units, and mobile fire teams of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Preliminary data indicate that as of 08:30 on Tuesday, February 10, air defense had shot down or suppressed 110 enemy drones across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

Hits were recorded by 13 strike drones at six locations, and debris fell in two locations.

The attack is ongoing, with enemy drones still in Ukraine’s airspace.
