Five settlements in Donetsk region come under enemy shelling in past day - police

The Russian troops shelled five settlements in Donetsk region on December 10. Civilians were injured.

This is said in a statement issued by the National Police, Ukrinform reports.

The invaders launched six attacks on Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Karlivka, and Maksymilianivka.

It was established that the Russians used MLRS and artillery. Two residential buildings and a building of the water supply company were damaged by enemy shelling. Civilians were injured in artillery strikes in Bakhmut and Maksymilianivka.

Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to the report, with the help of the police, 64 more residents of Donetsk region were evacuated on December 10. Since the beginning of mandatory evacuation, more than 32,490 civilians, including 4,875 children and 1,942 people with disabilities, have been evacuated from the region.

As reported by Ukrinform, Donetsk region’s governor Pavlo Kyrylenko in a post on Telegram said that Russian forces injured two civilians in Donetsk region on December 10.
