Explosions heard in Sevastopol; strikes reported
Explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol during the night and morning of April 22. Two strikes were reported in the area of Cape Fiolent, where an anti-aircraft missile regiment is stationed, and on Monastyrske Highway, where a Russian Black Sea Fleet electronic intelligence unit is deployed.
According to Ukrinform, the Telegram channel Crimean Wind reported this.
“Russian troops were firing in all directions; however, as our subscribers reported, two strikes hit the area of Cape Fiolent, where an anti-aircraft missile regiment is stationed. Another strike hit Monastyrske Highway, where a Russian Black Sea Fleet signals intelligence unit is stationed,” the report states.
Powerful explosions were also heard near the Kacha Airfield in Sevastopol and in the Saky district of Crimea.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that on April 19, Sevastopol was attacked by drones, and air defense systems were active near the Belbek Airfield.
