Four police officers killed in mine blast during stabilization activities in Kherson region

During stabilization activities in the Kherson region, four police officers have been killed in mine blast.

The relevant statement was made by Head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Today the National Police of Ukraine has lost four comrades from the Kherson region’s police. In the Kherson region, during stabilization activities, Head of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Cherkasy region Mykhailo Kuratchenko, explosives expert Ihor Melnyk, canine handler Serhii Nenada, and Assistant to Patrol Police Duty Officer at the Uman District’s Police Department Vadym Perizhok were killed in mine blast,” Klymenko wrote.

In addition, four more police officers were injured, and doctors are now fighting for their lives.
