Kostin, his colleagues from 20 countries consider establishing Prosecutor’s Temporary Office

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin has met with his colleagues from 20 countries in The Hague. The parties discussed the initiative of establishing Prosecutor’s Temporary Office, which would be responsible for the strategy of investigating Russia’s crime of aggression.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, following the first coordination meeting of prosecutors from 20 countries, who are investigating Russian war crimes, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In the course of the meeting, prosecutors discussed the strengthening of cooperation, the ways of exchanging evidence and information, and the initiative of establishing Prosecutor’s Temporary Office, which would be responsible for the strategy of investigating Russia’s crime of aggression.

According to Kostin, “the faithful friends and partners of Ukraine have met, who are determined to bring the aggressor to justice.”

A reminder that twenty countries have already started to investigate and collect the evidence of Russian war crimes in Ukraine.
