Russians already injured 825 children in Ukraine

Russian troops have already injured 825 children in Ukraine.

The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

“More than 1,255 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression. As of the morning of November 2, 2022, the number of killed children did not change: 430. The number of injured children rose to more than 825," the report says.

It is noted that these figures are not final, as work is underway in the areas of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Most children were affected in Donetsk region - 420, Kharkiv region - 262, Kyiv region - 116, Mykolaiv region - 77, Zaporizhzhia region – 70, Chernihiv region - 68, Luhansk region - 64, Kherson region - 58, and Dnipropetrovsk region – 31.

On November 1, as a result of enemy shelling of Petropavlivka village of the Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, two children aged 3 and 6 were wounded.

In addition, regular air strikes and shelling of civilian infrastructure and residential areas by the Russian armed forces damaged 2,719 educational institutions. Of which, 332 were completely destroyed.
