Almost 40,000 Russian war crimes recorded in Ukraine

Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies have recorded almost 40,000 war crimes committed by the Russian forces in Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko spoke of this at a Kyiv briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Law enforcement agencies have already recorded about 40,000 war crimes committed by Russians. Among these crimes are also crimes against sexual freedom and sexual integrity of a person, or, as they are also called, sex crimes," she said.

Pavlichenko added that the Russian Federation terrorizes our peaceful cities every day, committing genocide.

As reported, law enforcement opened 1,777 cases probing cooperation of Ukrainians with the Russian Federation.
