Russian forces shell civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia region, killing one person

The Russian army has shelled populated areas of the Zaporizhzhia region, killing a civilian.

The Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the last 24 hours, shelling was recorded in Orikhiv, Chervona Krynytsia, Huliaipole, Novoselivka, Uspenivka, Dobropillia, Rivnopillia, Prymorskyi. During the shelling, the Russian invaders injured civilians. One person died as a result of the injuries sustained," the statement said.

The enemy fired at the homes of local residents, damaging not only their homes, but also the adjacent territory, outbuildings, and agricultural machinery.

In each case of armed crimes, police officers collected materials and handed them over to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) office in the Zaporizhzhia region for the opening of criminal proceedings under Part 1, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of laws and customs of war."
