Over 100 Russian invaders, two S-400 launch units destroyed in southern Ukraine

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated 108 Russian invaders, destroyed a significant number of military equipment and two ammunition depots in southern Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The situation in our operational zone is rather dynamic but controlled by the Defense Forces. There were no significant changes in the composition and deployment of enemy troops. The enemy is focusing efforts on holding the captured frontiers and remote actions, such as artillery and mortar strikes, air and missile strikes on our positions and peaceful settlements,” the report states.

On September 7, 2022, Russia’s aviation attacked the Ukrainian positions six times.

With heavy artillery, Russian invaders shelled the Marhanets territorial community, having hit the area of an industrial enterprise. No casualties among civilians were reported.

Ukrainian air forces launched 13 strikes, aiming at enemy logistics and control objects.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units completed more than 370 fire missions. The enemy’s losses include 108 troops, five tanks, three Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 15 armored vehicles, 10 howitzers and heavy artillery guns, 120-mm mortar, two S-400 launch units, S-300 guidance radar, and two ammunition depots in Mykolaiv District.

Russia’s naval group in the Black Sea consists of over a dozen of ships and boats. Two enemy missile carriers, equipped with 16 cruise missiles, are remaining combat ready.
