Russian strikes on Sumy region leave three people injured
Three people were injured in the Sumy region throughout the day due to Russian attacks.
Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Russians continue to target buildings and civilian vehicles in communities across the Sumy region. In the Okhtyrka district, two civilian women and a man were injured," the statement reads.
In particular, in the Chernechchyna community, a Russian UAV struck a residential building. No one was inside at the time of the attack. A 61-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction and received medical assistance on the spot.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, the enemy attacked a civilian car. A 43-year-old woman was hospitalized with injuries. In the same community, a man was also injured after hitting an explosive device. He received the necessary medical assistance.
In addition, in the Popivka community of the Konotop district, private homes were damaged as a result of a Russian missile strike. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. An inspection is ongoing.
