Enemy shells Sloviansk for second time in a day

In Donetsk region, Russian invaders shelled Sloviansk for the second time in a day, no casualties were reported.

Vadym Liakh, the head the city's military administration, said this in a video message published on the administration’s Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

"Another shelling of Sloviansk, nine hits. This is the CSCL micro-district. Fortunately, there are no victims. Two houses were damaged. The State Emergency Service and the police are investigating the circumstances. Stay strong. We are united. Take care of yourself," Liakh said.

He also published a photo of the damaged multi-storey building.

As reported, Russian troops struck the Sloviansk chemical and mechanical college this morning. The building of the educational institution suffered significant destruction. No victims were reported.

The Ukrainian government introduced a mandatory evacuation of the population from Donetsk region. The first train arrived in Kropyvnytskyi on the morning of August 2.
