1 killed, 6 injured as Russians strike Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region

The enemy was shelling the town of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region from MLRS for several hours.

"The enemy was firing MLRS for several hours. One local woman was killed," Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Six people were injured, including three energy company employees who had been restoring power lines.

As a result of the enemy attack, dozens of private houses and civilian infrastructure objects were destroyed. Firefighters put out the fires.

On February 24, the Russian Federation began a new stage of the war against Ukraine – a full-scale invasion. Russian invaders shell and bomb Ukrainian cities and villages, killing the civilian population. The defense forces of Ukraine resist the Russian troops.
