Belarus plans to increase the size of its armed forces up to 80,000 personnel.

"In Volyn and Polissya directions, the threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus remains. As part of the creation of the southern operational command, the size of the armed forces of Belarus is expected to grow up to 80,000 personnel," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

In addition, the General Staff reports that the enemy has not taken active action in Siversky direction, no signs of the creation of strike groups were identified. The enemy continues to keep up to three battalion tactical groups in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions to restrain Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Mortar strikes on the Ukrainian units in the area of Khodyne and Velyka Pisarivka in Sumy region were launched from the territory of the Russian Federation.
